Ok I’m back from my Olympic high, I have to echo the words of Asafa Powell and say thanks to Beijing for putting on the JAlympics! BTW I am soooooo proud and happy for Asafa who is now validated as an Olympic gold medalist.

But back to fashion. So it’s the "fall" shopping season now, colder climates up north means new trends to look for and well, for us who will still be feeling the heat of the Jamaican/Caribbean sun right thru, it means sales on all the summer clothes that they’re now unloading to make way for winter boots and coats.

New on the scene (again) are plaids and other checked fabrics. This Halogen Jacket and Calvin Klein Dress is really calling my name.

I wish the weather would dip, this jacket is screaming my name!

And what about the maxi dress? Jamaicans are loving the maxi dress trend and we’re seeing them on the beach, at the club, at the parties, even at work! The prints are getting even more exotic and colourful and the single color maxi is doing just as well. I’m gonna ask my peoples tho to lay off the purple maxi, I’m SOOO tired of seeing that one.

It was super-hard to pick a winner for the Keneea dress , i really wanted to give it up to one of my lurkers who came out to comment and show birthday love for FOS but those comments we’re lacking…don’t be shy guys!
