The Leggings Trend Updated

The trend is still with us, and has been updated to include different textures. These updates however, are not for everyone. They are for the daring, the confident, the sassy and the TONED! Especially the liquid leather look, as you WILL see every curve and every dimple. The other one is the lace trend. Lace on a whole is fast becoming a trend thanks to Prada’s 2008 Fall Ready to Wear Collection. Angela Simmons was seen wearing lace leggings at her 21st birthday party and was criticized by most for the looks on the various celeb blogs, but I am all for being different! The trend is not easy to pull off, one must be careful that the lace doesnt look too much like your grandma’s doily.

Solange is not even near the top of my style list…I give her points for trying her best to be different as she’s desperately wanting to step out from her sister’s (Beyonce) shadow…however homegirl tries too hard! She rarely gets it right… I’m not feeling the mix of patterns here at all…

i LOVE the legging! been lookin for them all over… even tho I think i’d b a bit more conservative than how ma girl Cherine’s rockin them :$ my style would probably be a good mix between Cherine & RiRi… the heels are a definate (i’m short) but with a longer top

Leggings are truly controversial and many ppl just can’t seem to get it rite.

-I am NOT feeling that lace thing… heck, d entire ensemble has me cross! Maybe if I got a better look from a different angle or sumn it wud help… mi nuh know.
-I feel bad for Solange, really I do. Sometimes I even swear she’s on some kinda psychotropic drugs cuz… damn! Wat is up wit all dem krzy patterns all ova d place? She nuh get dizzy looking at herself in d mirror?! Sheesh!!!

Seriously, I’m getting into this trend… bought my first pair some time ago and actually went back and got another! That says a lot cuz I usually not into nuttn being termed a “trend”.
Ladies, u can check Brit Bran fashions in Half Way Tree… that’s where I got my second pair… dunno if they have d liquid ones tho… in fact I haven’t seen those anywhere.
